The caps do a lot for the character of the typeface

Here’s what I did: I went from narrow, same-width-caps to more proportional caps. The result is a friendlier and more legible (in my opinion, naturellement) text.

Here is the before:

This is after. Not done yet, but the O, G, N, E and R show the intent.

It still retains the slightly squarish look that goes well with its narrowness, but the words just look better.
